Responsible Gaming

Poker Milan teaches strategy, and good strategy starts with never playing beyond your means. This page is not legal boilerplate — it's the advice we'd give a friend.

Ground rules that protect you

  • Only play with money you can lose entirely without affecting rent, food, family, or savings.
  • Use a separate bankroll. Serious players keep at least 20–30 buy-ins for their stake level; if the bankroll is gone, they stop or move down. Adopt the same discipline at any stake.
  • Never chase losses. The mathematically correct response to a losing session is nothing — variance is part of the game. Chasing turns variance into ruin.
  • Set a time limit before you sit down, and keep money you've cashed out cashed out.
  • 18+ only. Underage gambling is illegal everywhere we know of, full stop.

Warning signs

Hiding play from family, gambling with borrowed money, playing to "win it back," neglecting work or sleep, feeling anxious when not playing — any of these means it's time to stop and talk to someone.
