Vinoth Kanna is an engineer based in India who came to poker through its mathematics rather than its mythology. Poker Milan exists because most poker writing is either vague encouragement or thinly disguised advertising for somewhere to deposit money. Every guide here starts from the arithmetic — combinations, equity, pot odds — and ends at a decision you can actually make in the few seconds a real hand gives you.

Poker Milan exists for one reason: most poker advice online is either vague ("play tight, play smart") or buried under affiliate hype. We think the game deserves better. Every guide on this site starts from the actual mathematics — combinations, equity, pot odds — and turns it into decisions you can make in the two seconds you get at a real table.

What we don't do

We are not a gambling operator. We don't take deposits, host games, or promote real-money gambling to jurisdictions where it is restricted. Poker here is treated as what it is at its best: a game of skill, probability, and psychology.
